Visitability Means:

- One zero step entrance on an accessible path of travel from the street, sidewalk or driveway

- Doorways that provide 32 inches clear space throughout the home's main floor and hallways that provide 36 inches of clear width

- Basic access to a half or (preferably) full bath on the main floor

Visitable Decks Bring People Together

A pathway made of stone blocks leads through a lush lawn to a wooden deck ramp. A large, leafy decidous tree, possibly an oak, is in the background. A short wooden ramp provides a path of travel up onto a low deck covered with lawn chairs, a grill and an outdoor loveseat. In the background, another short wooden ramp goes up to the next level of the deck. A decorative shiny rainbow-hued stone and bleached cow skull sit in the garden near the deck. An accessible path of travel leads through a carpeted area into a bathroom on the first floor. A partially open wooden pocket door separates the linoleum of the bathroom from the carpet of the adjoining room.
